our team for Cook/Kitchen staff. This position will be primarily in the elementary building.
The hours available are from 6:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The cook/kitchen staff member’s duties include but are not limited to:
- Cooking school meals according to State and Federal food safety regulations
- Continuing education on these regulations
-Helping unload, date mark, check in, and put away weekly deliveries
-Daily prepping for meals, including salad bar items
-Dishwashing
-Keeping compliance with meal patterns and completing daily production sheets
-Daily and yearly cleaning

The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community School District, in partnership with the Northwest Area Education Agency, is seeking applicants in its maintenance and operations departments. The applicant will work with the SBL maintenance and operations director to maintain facilities in the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Schools and the Northwest AEA. Great weekend for Warrior athletics. The boys' tennis team qualified for state for the first time ever. Multiple track athletes are competing at state track including a 6th place finish in the shot put by Alex Wilson.

Great day for boys' tennis! Tyler was first in singles and is going to state. Nathan and Braxton were 1st in doubles and Dylan and Carter were 2nd in doubles. All are going to state. Brayton was 3rd in singles.

On May 9 , SBL is hosting the regional track meet. In order to accommodate the large amount of anticipated traffic, the high school will dismiss at 2:20 on the 9th. High school students who ride the bus may remain in the high school commons. High school and middle school students who ride the bus will walk to the elementary and get on the bus on the EAST side of the elementary school.
