Facility Planning
Understanding that a school district is a direct reflection of the community it serves, the school board and leadership team of Sergeant Bluff-Luton Community Schools is committed to a facility planning strategy that reflects the priorities of the taxpayers and meets the needs of our students and communities.
We are grateful to our community members for continuing to be a part of this process and providing input for the District to consider as we explore the options for moving forward with our facility planning.

Take our Short Post-Bond Referendum Survey
Thank you to the many residents of SBL Community Schools who took time to learn about the November 2024 bond referendum and for participating in the election. Although the bond failed, we are encouraged by the 55.5% yes votes. This is the first bond that more than half the district approved. The results tell us the district is on the right path towards a successful proposal following the past two years of planning.
While the bond didn’t succeed, we remain committed to our long-term plan, developed with community input.
Every household in the district will receive a postcard with survey information. However, there's no need to wait—you can complete the survey today by following the link below.
