Supt. Janzen spoke at COMCON last night. The Nov. bond issue is $37 million to build a new primary building attached to the elementary and retire the existing primary. The cost to the average homeowner is about 7.5 gallons of gas, just a little more than a 5-gallon bucket.

We’re so proud to announce that Bailey Boettcher, a 4th grade student, has been selected as a National Math Star! 🌟🧠
Bailey is one of 17 Iowans, chosen from thousands across the country, who will receive more than $100,000 in educational support now through high school graduation. She completed a multi-stage evaluation process that included personal interviews while assessing her mathematical aptitude and desire to explore STEM-related fields.

The East Campus project is nearing completion. Weather permitting, substantial completion will occur in a couple weeks. Until then, the site remains a construction zone and we ask for your help in staying off the site for liability purposes.
The first home tennis match will be August 25.
Seeding will be done last. We will ask for everyone's cooperation and stay off all the dirt so grass can grow.

SBL is seeking a new Food Service Director. The opening is immediate. The director manages the food service program for the entire district which includes four buildings. Benefits include a full single health insurance plan, dental, IPERS and other benefits. A competitive salary is offered with summers off.
