Congratulations to all the SBL students who placed at the WITCC Skills Day last week! Six biomedical science students participated in the health science career poster presentations as well.





The SBL High School has once again been named a US News and World Report Best High School. This is the 4th year in a row the high school has received this designation. Congratulations to all who contribute to the success of our students!

We are seeking a world history teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

Sirens went off in Sergeant Bluff at approximately 1:45 today. Each building implemented their safety protocols for tornadoes. All students were safe.


The 7th Grade Math Bee team finished 3rd out of 33 teams!


Thank you to everyone for your cooperation with the change to the middle school traffic pattern. It was a huge success. Traffic on Port Neal flows considerably better and all parents are through the pick up line before the busses leave after school. Thank you!

Reminder of the middle school traffic pattern change beginning Wednesday, April 3. Traffic will flow in the opposite direction (south to north). During this trial period we ask all parents to please use the middle school drop-off lane rather than dropping off on Port Neal Road.
