Warrior News

Dear Warrior Family,

I am writing to share the results of our recent November 2024 bond election. While the bond measure received 55% support from our voters – falling short of the required 60% supermajority – this represents a significant milestone in our district's history.

For the first time ever, we crossed the 50% threshold, making this the strongest show of support our community has demonstrated for a school bond measure. This level of support tells us that we are moving in the right direction and that our message about the critical needs of our schools is resonating with many of you.

The long-term facilities plan we developed through extensive community engagement remains our roadmap for addressing our district's critical needs. We remain committed to the plan that was developed and that continuing to work together as a community is the key to eventual success.

In the near future, we will be sending out a survey to gather your feedback about the November 2024 bond measure. Your insights will be invaluable as we begin planning for a potential November 2025 bond measure. We want to understand what resonated with you, what concerns you may have had, and how we can better serve our community's needs.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this election, whether through voting, volunteering, or engaging in discussions about our schools' future. Your involvement in this process matters, and we are grateful for your continued engagement with our district.

We look forward to continuing our work together to ensure our students have safe, modern learning environments.

Sincerely,

Chad Janzen, Superintendent
