Dinner Theatre

- District News

A dinner theatre event hosted by the SergeantBluff-Luton High School Warrior Theatre will be held on Sat. June 1 at the high school. Dinner will be catered by the Pizza Ranch and will begin at 6:30 p.m. "Crushed" by Don Zoldis will be performed at 7:45 p.m. Following the performance attendees are invited to join the cast for a dessert bar.

A short play, Crushed" focuses on Guy and Girl who are pretty pathetic. Rather than interact with other humans, they've retreated to their own personal fantasy worlds of sappy romantic comedies and violent video games. Luckily, their hours of gorging on ice cream and battling imaginary enemies cause them to hallucinate their own spirit guides to romance, who will gleefully usher them into the world of dating, starting with lessons in what not to do (like creating a doll made of your beloved's hair or wearing a sympathy pregnancy suit). A hilarious and wild look at the pitfalls of having a crush.

Tickets for the dinner and theatre are $15 for adults and $10 for students / children. For the production only the tickets are $5.
