Message from the Principal

Welcome to the Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School! The Sergeant Bluff-Luton Middle School serves approximately 350 students in grades six through eight. We provide a strong curriculum as well as numerous opportunities in extra-curricular activities throughout the school year. The middle school staff consists of 1 Principal, 27 certified educators, 1 librarian, 5 classroom associates, 1 administrative assistant, 2+ custodians, and a kitchen staff of four. In addition to this staff, we receive professional assistance from the local Area Education Association (AEA) primarily in the area of special education and other specialized services. I, along with my staff work collaboratively to “Ensure that every student experiences great teaching EACH day.”

Sergeant Bluff-Luton is extremely proud of the education it offers our students. Our staff is committed to providing students with a rigorous and developmentally appropriate curriculum that will provide a foundation of excellence as the student’s progress through their educational journey. We encourage our parents/guardians to be involved in their child’s education, create a trusting relationship with staff and administration, and partner with us in this journey.
